Operation Steps:

(1) Connection: Attach the red clamp to the battery's positive terminal ("+") and the black clamp to the negative terminal ("–"). The display illuminates upon secure connection.
(2) Battery Type Selection: Use ∧/∨ buttons to navigate the flashing cursor. Select battery type (Automotive/Electric Vehicle) and press the right CONFIRM button.
(3) Automotive Mode:

Navigate with  ∧/∨to choose the battery standard (CCA, IEC, SAE, EN, DIN, CA) labeled on the battery.
Press CONFIRM.
Special Case: If no standard is labeled, select "Automotive + CCA," then set discharge current per the "Battery Capacity vs CCA Reference Table".
(4) Discharge Current Setting:
Adjust max discharge current with  ∧/∨ (hold >1s for rapid adjustment).
Press CONFIRM after setting. Reference: Battery label or "Reference Table".
(5) Electric Vehicle Mode:
Set battery capacity (Ah) via  ∧/∨ (hold >1s for rapid adjustment).
Press CONFIRM to initiate testing.
(6) Results Review:
Toggle with ∧/∨ to view:

Parameters: Internal resistance, voltage, discharge capability
Status: Lifespan, capacity, health rating (Excellent/Good/Poor/Replace)
(7) Error Correction: Press RETURN or SYSTEM RESET to reconfigure during testing.

Precautions:

(1) Testing Condition: Avoid testing during charging/discharging to prevent inaccuracies.
(2) Contact Safety: Never touch battery terminals or clamp contacts during operation.
(3) Secure Connection: Ensure full clamp-terminal contact. If "ERO" appears with beeping, check clamps.
(4) Battery Restriction: For lead-acid batteries ONLY. STRICTLY PROHIBITED for lithium batteries.
(5) Voltage Range: Operates at 8-30V. Under/over voltage triggers protection (device inoperable).
(6) Charge Level: Test only when fully charged for accurate data.
(7) Voltage Stabilization: Wait 10+ mins after charging before testing automotive batteries. Tip: Turn on headlights for 3 mins to stabilize voltage.
(8) Safety Inspection: Verify clamp insulation integrity. Never operate with open rear cover (electric shock risk).
(9) Environment: Avoid high temp/humidity, flammable/explosive areas, and strong electromagnetic fields.
