Verify specifications: polarity, dimensions, voltage (≥12.4V).
Clean the battery and ensure vent ports are sealed.
Transfer reusable components (vent tubes, terminal covers).

2.Vehicle Preparation
Clear debris from the battery tray to avoid damage.
Inspect terminals/hold-downs for corrosion (use hot water for minor buildup; seek professional help for severe cases).
Confirm alternator belt tension and charging system functionality.
 
3.Battery Installation
Secure the battery with hold-down clamps (avoid over-tightening).
Reconnect terminals in order: positive first, then negative.
Transfer protective components (e.g., vent tubes). Apply petroleum jelly sparingly to terminals on hard-rubber batteries.
Remove CMS and start the engine for testing.
For non-automotive equipment, follow manufacturer guidelines.
